COOL WHITE FLEXIBLE LED STRIP LIGHTS
White light comes in different colour temperatures that create different moods and aesthetics. The colour temperature of an LED is measured in kelvin (K) and is usually detailed in the product specifications. Cool White light is a brighter blueish white that is best used to illuminate work surfaces and office spaces. Cool white single colour LED strips are generally any colour temperature between 5000K-6500K.
As a company we keep stock of a range of cool white LED strip lights, these range in IP rating, brightness and LEDs per metre. We have a product suited to each and every installation, for example: ...
- SideWinder Cool White LED Letter Bendable Strip 5000-5500K - Unlike standard LED tape that can only bend forward or backwards on itself. Bendable corner strip lighting can also move from left to right giving you more flexibility, they can be bent at every LED and at a 90-degree angle.
- StudioFlex MW Cool White LED Strip 5500-6500K 96W IP67 - This innovative product features 120 x cool white LEDs at 96w /m behind an opaque rather than a clear silicone coating. This helps to reduce the spotting from the LED's creating a softer light, ideal for installation in commercial environments.
- NeoLED Cool White (6000 - 6500K) 24V 8mm Single COB LED Strip Light - The COB technology turns the entire length of the Strip into one continuous LED so you have dotless linear LED strip lights. Unlike generic LED Strip Lights, our NeoLED strip has more chips per metre. This produces a completely continual line of light. This makes the COB LED white light strip perfect for installing into diffused extrusions or plinths where linear lighting is needed.

Installing Cool White LED strip
LED strip lighting is a versatile product that is easy to install and can be cut to length to fit requirements. Fitted with a 3m self adhesive strip led tape can be easily secured to a smooth surface like an aluminium profile.
Low voltage LED strips must be powered with an LED driver to supply the correct voltage. These drivers can be easily hard wired to the LED strip or plugged in using a jack connector depending on the driver.
LED strips must be handled with care and bent at no more than the amount specified in the datasheet. When sticking LED strips to a surface it is important not to apply too much pressure to prevent damaging the strip. You can do this by using a dry cloth or sponge to press the strip in place to reduce the pressure on the LED strip.
