RF Remote Control Systems
Radio Frequency (RF) lighting control system is a wireless light protocol that communicates using radio waves. It is a simplistic and wireless setup which makes it the first choice for many lighting projects.
We have a huge selection of RF control system units, including handsets and wall panels for both single-colour, RGB and RGBW LED Lights. Available in black and white finishes, with rotary dials or touch-sensitive discs and sliders. You will be able to find the perfect unit for your installation.
RF remote control systems are the perfect selection for controlling LED lighting. They do not require connecting wires and you can control your lighting from up to 20m away. It does not even require a line of sight to operate, perfect for controlling outdoor lighting.

Using RF LED control at home
When installing LED strip lighting and similar low voltage products different control protocols can be used, each suited to different projects.
LED lighting can be controlled using a number of different control protocols each one suited to different installations. Large scale projects often use hardwired protocols like DMX and DALI to centralise control through a system.
Due to their simplicity wireless protocols are used frequently in residential installations. With an operating of up to 20 metres, RF LED control is perfect for home lighting control. Unlike hardwired systems, RF doesn’t need a connection between controllers and instead uses radio waves to communicate.
The system can be easily set up by simply pairing the remote or wall panel to the LED receiver. When using zonal controllers these receivers can be programmed both together and separately for flexible control.
As RF works without a line of sight, receivers can be hidden away to make for a clean and tidy install. RF is compatible with both single colour and colour changing products including CT, RGB and RGBW LEDs. RF is a cost effective and easy to use protocol and is often a first choice for residential lighting control.
