Automate your lighting with a Zigbee Receiver
Zigbee is wireless, universal control protocol used in home automation for lighting control as well as other smart home compatible products.
By using a ZigBee receiver a standard light fitting can be paired to a ZigBee network and controlled by compatible devices.
Through smart hubs like Philips Hue and Google Home Zigbee devices can be controlled remotely by app or by remote control. Receivers can be programmed to be controlled in together or separately making them ideal for installations with multiple zones.

What is Zigbee and how does it work?
Similar to Wifi and BlueTooth, Zigbee is a short-range wirelessly networked communication protocol. Where Wi-Fi and BlueTooth are designed for high amounts of data transfer Zigbee is a low data energy-efficient protocol.
Zigbee communicates using a mesh network transferring between information between Zigbee devices to get it to the desired location. ZigBee is used frequently in home automation systems to control single colour and multicolour lighting devices.
