KNX Protocol
KNX is an open standard lighting and control protocol used for both domestic and commercial building automation. Our KNX products are supplied by Sunricher, Sunricher are a member of the KNX association, so all our products are KNX Certified which ensures full interoperability of the products with all universal KNX systems.
A KNX System is ideal for both home and commercial installations as it enables users to not only control their lighting but also shutters, roller blinds and even room temperature devices while working with the corresponding KNX actuator. Each system allows control of up to 65,000 devices.
Sunricher supplies everything you need to control your lighting through the KNX system, including wall panels, actuators, and converters. KNX is a similar system to DALI in so much as all the KNX control devices are controlled by a KNX Master Controller. The system is powered by a KNX BUS which is a BUS Line that is connected to all the KNX devices in the system, and the protocol is bi-directional so each device in the KNX system will report back to the KNX Master reporting any issues with the controllers/devices.
