Z-Wave Dimmers
Z-Wave dimmers allow Z-Wave devices or smart home devices to control LED lighting such as
LED strip lights. They will communicate with the Z-Wave hub network and relay dimming commands to the attached light fixture.
Z-Wave is a wireless protocol that is often used for home automation as they form a MESH network. This is where a group of products communicate so the control signal can find the most efficient route. As the name suggests the signal moves around the network in a "Z" formation enabling you to create Z-Wave home automation systems.
As this wireless technology connects to your smart home devices it can be a great security system as you could control LED floodlights on a wave network when someone walks in that area even by voice control.
We offer single colour and colou rchanging Z-Wave LED dimmers that will ensure LED control is effortless.

How does a Z wave Dimmer work?
A Z Wave Dimmer communicates with a compatible controller or hub using the z wave wireless protocol. The dimmer is sent commands to adjust the output of the attached lighting fixtures. The dimmer then converts the Z wave command and adjusts the PWM frequency of the attached fixture to change the light output.
