SMART HOME CONTROL WITH Z WAVE DIMMERS

SMART HOME CONTROL WITH Z WAVE DIMMERS

Z-Wave is a wireless wave technology that forms a MESH network, this is a group of products that all communicate with each other so that the wireless signal can find the most efficient route around the network. As the name suggests the signal moves around the network in a "Z" formation enabling you to create Z-Wave home automation systems...

You can automate your home systems with Z-Wave compatible smart hubs using our range of single colour and colour changing smart dimmers.

Simply connect your lighting in your home to a Z-Wave dimmer then fixtures can be controlled through a compatible home automation system. Home automation controllers are the perfect way to create a home management system connecting lights to your smart device controllers like iPhone, iPad or Android devices.

As this wireless technology connects to your smart home devices it can be a great security system as you could control your floodlights on a wave network when someone walks in that area even by voice control.

The dimmer can switch or dim your connected light source either through Z-Wave devices or through a wall switch connected directly to it.

These dimmers will then communicate with the Z-Wave hub network and relay dimming commands to the attached light fixture to create home lighting automation. They are IP20 rating for dry environments only.

Replacing existing light switches with Z Wave wall dimmers enables control both through smart home apps and local wall switches finishing off your light systems.

These dimmers/receivers all have a 5 year warranty. For product assistance on your smart lighting please contact us by telephone, email or via our online live chat.

How does a Z wave Dimmer work?

A Z Wave Dimmer communicates with a compatible controller or hub using the z wave wireless protocol. The dimmer is sent commands to adjust the output of the attached lighting fixtures. The dimmer then converts the Z wave command and adjusts the PWM frequency of the attached fixture to change the light output.
