Product Description

This high-quality aluminium profile with a rounded diffuser is perfect for housing LED strip lights for a professional and attractive lighting design.

It has a total depth of 23.1mm, with an interval width of 24mm. Therefore, this LED dome profile can house LED tapes that are no more than 24mm in width. Available in 1m lengths, this can be cut into bespoke lengths to fit perfectly into a unique space.

 

Our founded profile is made from high-quality anodised aluminium with a clip-in LED dome diffuser. This offers a huge amount of benefits including acting as a heat sink to reduce heat build-up. Read our  "Why do I need LED profile" blog for 7 reasons why we recommend installing LED profiles.

 

Our rounded profile is a vital element for achieving a neat and skillfully installation. Perfect for high-end projects in both commercial and domestic establishments.

 

Installation

Aluminium dome profiles can be mounted using the fixing clips provided, or screwing directly through the back with a countersunk-headed screw.

 To mount the strips onto the profile, simply peel the protective paper off the lights to reveal the adhesive backing. You can then attach the strip to the profile.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, check that the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The profile is aluminium, meaning it will conduct the low-voltage power going through the tape, causing it to stop working.
