Product Description

This deep recessed LED channel is perfect for housing LED strip lights on surfaces to make it look like the lighting is a part of the surface. This LED channel can be recessed into the surface to make the lighting looks like part of the surface.

This recessed LED light channel requires a 14.5mm deep and 17.3mm wide void, with a LED tape of no more than 12.5mm in width. It is 2m in length that can be cut to size so that it fits perfectly into the space.

 

Our LED strip recessed profiles are made from high-quality anodised aluminium with a slide-in diffuser and end caps. This offers many benefits, including prolonging the life of light strips. Read our  "Why do I need LED profile" blog for 7 reasons why we recommend installing LED profiles.

 

LED recessed channels are perfect for achieving a professional and neat installation. They will improve the overall look of the LED lighting, perfect for installations in both domestic and commercial projects.

 

Installation

Recessed LED strip channels can be mounted using the fixing clips provided, or screwing directly through the back with a countersunk-headed screw.

Take care when mounting the tape to ensure the tape is lined up perfectly on the profile. It is not recommended to remove strip lights and re-stick them as this can damage the lights. Therefore it is important to line the lights up properly the first time.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, check that the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The profile is aluminium, meaning it will conduct the low-voltage power going through the tape, causing it to stop working.
