  1. Slide the connector over one of the cables  

  1. Twist strands together or align side by side  

  1. Reposition the connector so the solder ring sits over the conductors  

  1. Apply heat using a heat gun until the joint fully seals  

The solder ring melts to form a permanent connection, while the surrounding tubing shrinks tightly around the insulation to complete the seal. 

This process creates reliable joints in under a minute with just a heat gun.
