Mini Lip Raised Black LED Profile 2 MTR

This mini lip raised LED flat extrusion, the Mini Lip Raised LED Profile 2 MTR – Black Finish, is a premium black aluminium LED profile and durable solution for housing LED strip lights and LED tape. This LED extrusion is 2 metres in length and is suitable for LED strip lights that are no more than 11mm in width, making it ideal for 10mm and 11mm LED tape and slim LED strip installations.

Made from high quality black anodised aluminium with a clip in diffuser and diffuser end caps, this LED flat extrusion is designed to be discreet and stylish. The black aluminium profile acts as an efficient heat sink to improve LED strip lifespan, provides protection from dust and accidental contact, and helps deliver a smooth, even light output for high quality linear LED lighting and architectural LED applications.

Installation

Flat aluminium extrusions can be mounted using the mounting clips provided or hanging clips. This surface mount profile can also be fixed into place by screwing through the back of the profile with a countersunk headed screw. The profile can be cut to length on site for bespoke installations and is compatible with a wide range of LED strip adhesives and mounting methods.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, check that the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The profile is aluminium, meaning it will conduct the low voltage power going through the tape, causing it to stop working if the copper contacts touch the metal.
