The Recess Box Black LED Profile 2 MTR is a premium-quality recessed aluminium channel designed for housing LED strip lights and LED tape in a sleek, professional way. Finished in a stylish black anodised coating, this profile is perfect for contemporary interiors where a discreet, high-end appearance is essential. Ideal for installations where only a shallow recess is possible, it allows the light to appear as an integral part of the surface. With an 8mm depth and 17mm recess width, it accommodates LED tape that is no more than 15mm wide. Each 2-metre length can be trimmed to fit bespoke spaces such as display shelving, cabinetry, feature walls, or architectural trims. The black anodised aluminium body offers exceptional durability, while the slide-in diffuser provides smooth, even light distribution and eliminates LED spotting. The aluminium housing also serves as an effective heat sink, helping to manage thermal output and prolong the lifespan of your LED strips.

Installation
Recessed LED channels can be fitted using the included mounting clips or by screwing directly through the back of the profile with countersunk-headed screws. They can be cut to exact lengths on site for custom installations and work with a wide range of LED tapes and adhesive mounting options.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, ensure the back of the strip remains insulated from the aluminium surface. Aluminium conducts low voltage, and contact with the copper pads on the LED tape could cause the strip to stop working.
