Product Description

Medium Box Black LED Profile 2m 

The Black LED Profile 2m is a high-quality, durable aluminium extrusion designed for housing LED strip lights and LED tape in both residential and commercial lighting installations. This black LED profile is 2 metres in length and can be cut down to suit bespoke installation requirements in kitchens, under cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, display units, and architectural lighting projects. 

With a 20mm depth, this profile accommodates LED tape up to 26mm wide, making it suitable for wider, high-output LED strip installations where improved heat management and light diffusion are required.

Black LED Profile 2m Lighting Performance & Application 

This black LED profile 2m extrusion is designed to create a seamless, continuous line of light. By positioning the LED strip away from the diffuser, light is evenly distributed to eliminate visible LED hotspots or pixelation. 

The result is a clean, professional finish suitable for:

Black LED Profile Installation Guide 

The black LED profile 2m can be fixed directly by screwing through the aluminium base using countersunk screws. 

Profiles can be cut to size on-site, making them ideal for bespoke lighting projects. They are compatible with most LED strip adhesive backings and standard mounting methods. 

Important Installation Note 

When fitting LED strips into the profile, ensure the LED strip backing is properly insulated. Aluminium is conductive at low voltage, and direct contact with exposed copper contacts may cause failure of the LED strip.
