This mini lip raised LED flat extrusion, the Mini Lip Raised LED Profile 2 MTR – Silver Anodised Aluminium, is a premium silver aluminium LED profile and durable solution for housing LED strip lights and LED tape. This 2 metre LED extrusion is compatible with LED strip lights that are no more than 11mm in width, making it ideal for 10mm and 11mm LED tape and slim LED strip installations.

Installation

Flat aluminium extrusions can be mounted using the included mounting clips or hanging clips. This surface mount profile can also be secured by screwing through the back of the profile with a countersunk headed screw. It can be cut to length on site for customised installations and is compatible with a wide range of LED strip adhesives and mounting methods.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, ensure the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The aluminium conducts low voltage, and contact with the copper on the tape could cause the LED strip to stop working.
