One of the most common requests from production designers and gaffers is discreet LED lighting for set stairs and step edges. Whether a multi-level presenter platform, raised news studio seating, or a built film set interior, safely illuminating step edges without drawing the camera's eye is a persistent challenge.

Our matte black PCB LED tape solves this directly. The black substrate absorbs overhead spill light, keeping the strip invisible against dark set woodwork and fascias. Pair it with a diffuser channel for a seamless line of light that guides movement without a visible fitting in shot.

Flicker-Free Lighting for Studio Sets

Television studios have zero tolerance for flicker. A 50Hz LED driver that passes unnoticed in an office will produce visible horizontal banding when captured by a high-speed broadcast camera at 50fps, 100fps, or above.

Our 24V DC architecture paired with high-frequency PWM drivers above 25kHz eliminates this entirely. The result is a stable, clean light source for news desks, presenter sets, and studio backdrops at every frame rate.

High CRI (>90) ensures accurate skin tone reproduction under broadcast colour grading, reducing corrective post-production.

Neon Flex for Sci-Fi & Film Set Dressing

Productions requiring a seamless, pixel-free neon glow need a product that bends cleanly, holds its position, and produces an even, continuous line with no hot-spots visible through silicone.

NEOLINEAR is available from just 3mm (Nano) up to full professional sizes, with the Nano profile achieving bend radii as tight as 30mm for intricate routing around props and signage lettering. Available in a full range of whites and colours including Red, Orange, Green, Blue, and colour temperatures from 2200K to 6000K.

Colour temperature inconsistency across a 30 to 60 metre run creates visible tonal banding the camera exposes immediately. Voltage drop shifts warm white towards amber at the far end. These are the failure modes that cost productions time in post.
