These silicone diffuser systems are designed for installation within routed channels to achieve a clean, recessed lighting finish. The flexible 20×20 mm profile sits neatly into a prepared groove, with LED strip installed beneath it in an aluminium heat-dissipating channel.

For curved runs and directional changes, bendable LED strip options such as SideWinder 90° strips can be used to maintain smooth continuity without breaking the lighting line.

The flexible nature of the diffuser makes it suitable for both straight and gently curved installations, making it ideal for retail displays, bespoke furniture, joinery features and interior architectural lighting. When combined with high-density LED tape, it produces a more uniform output with a soft, neon-style appearance.

Installation Notes and Compatibility

For best results, these diffuser profiles are typically used with COB LED strips or high-density LED tape (120 LEDs per metre or above). Installing the LED strip within an aluminium profile is recommended to assist with heat management and maintain consistent performance over time.

Common applications include reception desks, counters, stair lighting, shadow gaps, handrails, retail fixtures, hospitality interiors and custom furniture where a continuous line of diffused light is required.
