The IP rating of a strip applies to the strip itself, not connection points. Standard lever connectors are exposed to moisture regardless of the strip's rating. RayTech IP68 gel connectors encase the connection completely, ensuring junctions match the strip's specification.
How long do the lamp batteries last before replacement?expand_more
With normal use, lithium-ion packs last several hundred full charge cycles. For commercial operations cycling lamps daily, we recommend annual preventative replacement. Replacement packs (101.944) and 5V power supplies (101.945) are stocked, ensuring the lamps themselves have a substantially longer operational lifespan.

IP67 strips withstand temporary submersion (up to 1 metre for 30 minutes), which is correct for open deck and exterior applications. IP68 strips are rated for continuous submersion beyond 1 metre, the only correct choice for waterline, hull and permanently submerged applications.
