The LEDTech 200W 24V constant voltage LED driver delivers reliable, high-capacity power for ambitious LED lighting schemes in both commercial and residential settings. With a maximum output current of 8.3A and a compact footprint of 205 x 51 x 28mm, this driver is well suited to powering longer LED strip runs, architectural cove lighting, feature walls and large-scale decorative installations.

Rated for an input voltage of 175–265V AC, this driver is fully compatible with standard UK mains voltage, providing stable 24VDC output with a voltage accuracy of ±0.5VDC, ensuring consistent colour rendering and brightness across all connected LED products, regardless of load variation.

As LED control systems become increasingly sophisticated, many multi-channel controllers and DMX decoders are now rated to draw significant combined currents. A single 200W driver can effectively power such controllers without the complexity and potential voltage-matching issues associated with running multiple smaller drivers in parallel.

Comprehensive built-in protection is included as standard. Short circuit protection restores automatically once the fault is resolved, over voltage protection guards against supply anomalies, and an over temperature shutdown protects the driver and the connected LED system during periods of high ambient temperature or restricted airflow. Simply re-energise once cooled.

To ensure maximum service life, we recommend running this driver at approximately 70% of its maximum rated output, which is around 140W of continuous load. This thermal management approach is particularly important for air-cooled drivers installed in partially enclosed locations, and will significantly extend the operational life of both the driver and your LED lighting.

As with all drivers in this range, the unit must be installed in a ventilated location with unrestricted airflow around the casing. It must not be covered with insulation or placed in sealed enclosures.
