Product Description

This wide crown LED flat extrusion is a wonderful solution for housing LED strip lights to create a stunning lighting effect. This LED extrusion has a depth of 9.75mm and will house strips that are no more than 18mm in width. This is 2m in length, which can be cut to size, as well as cut to fit seamlessly into corners.

 

The small size of this LED extrusion is designed to offer discreet housing to improve light quality. Perfect for installation into shallow voids to make the lighting look like a part of the surface. It is made from high-quality anodised aluminium, with a clip-in diffuser and diffuser end caps.

Flat profiles for strip lights are a vital element of professional installations. They improve the overall look of the strip lights, ensuring it is clean and reducing the effects of pixelation. LED profiles are perfect for both commercial and domestic projects.

 

Installation

Flat aluminium extrusions can be mounted using the mounting clips provided. It can also be fixed into place by screwing through the back of the profile with a countersunk-headed screw.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, check that the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The profile is aluminium, meaning it will conduct the low-voltage power going through the tape, causing it to stop working.
