MEAN WELL | SPWM-240-48 240W 48V Constant Voltage PWM Output LED Driver

The MEAN WELL SPWM-240-48 is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring a 48V constant voltage PWM output. It delivers a maximum rated current of 5A and a maximum rated output power of 240W, with an adjustable output voltage range of 47V to 50V. Its PWM output helps maintain consistent colour temperature and even brightness when powering compatible LED strip lighting.

This model features 3 in 1 dimming control, allowing the output to be adjusted using a 0 to 10VDC signal, a 10V PWM signal or resistance. Dimming is achieved by varying the duty cycle of the output current, with a fixed PWM output frequency of 3.2kHz. The minimum defined dimming level is approximately 6%, while the output can drop to 0% when the dimming input reaches approximately 0VDC, 0kΩ resistance or a 10V PWM signal with a 0% duty cycle.

The driver operates from an input range of 180V to 305VAC and achieves efficiency levels of up to 94%. Standby power consumption remains below 0.5W when dimmed off, while the fanless design uses free air convection cooling for quiet and reliable operation. Its slim Class II plastic housing measures 380 × 38 × 28.5mm.

Built in protection is provided against short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature conditions. The SPWM-240-48 is designed for compatible LED strip lighting, decorative lighting, architectural lighting and household lighting control systems. It is supplied with a 5 year manufacturer warranty.
