Product Description

This high-quality aluminium heat sink plate is designed to dissipate heat and reduce heat build-up that can damage LED Strip lights. This ideal solution for high-powered LED lights if a diffuser is not desired.

It is slimline with a depth of just 1mm, and is, therefore, barely visible under the strip light. It is 12.75mm in width, so this LED strip heat sink is able to house LED tape that is no more than 12mm in width. It is 1m in length which can be effortlessly cut to bespoke lengths to fit the application perfectly.


The benefit of using this LED aluminium heat sink is that it provides a smooth surface and clean surface so that the strip can adhere properly, as well as reducing heat-build which extends the life of the lighting.

Our LED heat sink is made from high-quality anodised aluminium, ensuring this is the perfect product for professional installations.

Installation

This aluminium heat sink for LED strips is fixed into place by screwing directly through with a countersunk-headed screw.

To mount the strips onto the profile, simply peel the protective paper off the lights to reveal the adhesive backing. You can then attach the strip to the profile.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, check that the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The profile is aluminium, meaning it will conduct the low-voltage power going through the tape, causing it to stop working.
