Product Description

This high-quality aluminium wall profile is perfect for housing LED strip lights for beautiful accent lighting. With a Dado rail design, it will create contemporary lighting perfect for high-end installations.

The total depth of this Dado rail profile is 42mm with an internal tray that can house LED tape no more than 12mm in width. It is 1m in length, that can be effortlessly cut to bespoke sizes to fit perfectly into the space.

 

Our Dado profiles are made from high-quality anodised aluminium with a clip-in diffuser. This offers a huge amount of benefits including acting as a heat sink to reduce heat build-up. Read our  "Why do I need LED profile" blog for 7 reasons we recommend installing LED profiles.

Dado rail profiles offer a beautiful solution for atmospheric lighting, ideal for professional installations in both commercial and domestic premises.

 

Installation

This aluminium profile can be fixed into place by using the fixing clips provided.

It is not recommended to re-stick strip lights after they have been installed, so ensure to take time to line the LED lighting correctly to avoid needing to adjust the placement and potentially damaging the LEDs.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, check that the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The profile is aluminium, meaning it will conduct the low-voltage power going through the tape, causing it to stop working.
