Choose how the lights switch on

Choose the trigger that suits how the cabinet will be used. Each option tells the lights when to switch on, while Master controls the whole driver and Channel controls one section at a time.

Master controlOne sensor plugs into the driver and controls all connected lights together.
Channel controlOne sensor sits inline on a single output, so only that shelf or zone responds.

Door activated

Switches the light on when the door opens and off again when it closes. Ideal for cupboards, wardrobes and drawers.

Common questions

tuneWhat is the difference between master and channel control?add
Master control switches everything connected to the driver together, using one controller for the whole installation. Channel control places one controller on each output, so each shelf or zone can switch on its own. Only control families with a channel product can be controlled section by section.
boltDo I need a 12V or a 24V driver?add
Match the driver to the lighting voltage. As a rule of thumb, longer total runs sit better on 24V, while shorter installations are happy on 12V. The selection tool works the voltage out for you and recommends a driver with sensible headroom for the design load.
content_cutCan the strip be cut to length?add
Yes. COB strip, Neon Flex and Angle Neon are cut-to-length on the marked cut points only. Each physical strip has two usable tails, so the planner assigns no more than two lit runs per strip and keeps waste to a minimum.
straightenWhich LED strip should I choose?add
Choose COB LED strip for straight runs along shelves, cabinets and kickplates. Choose Neon Flex when the run needs to bend or follow a shape, and Angle Neon for lighting installed into a corner.
powerWhat powers everything?add
Each installation needs a driver matched to the lighting voltage, the UK power cord to reach the mains, and a splitter or control module to distribute the low-voltage output. Connecting and extension cables tidy the routing between the driver, control and each lit section. Used together as a matched system, the strips and drivers support soft-start switching for a smoother turn-on.

A door sensor is the natural fit, switching the light on as the door opens and off as it closes. Use the master version to switch the whole unit together, or the channel version to switch each compartment separately.
