A simple 3-step guide to addressing and programming Pixel HD tape

Pixel HD uses the professional DMX512 protocol, not standard SPI. This means every individual LED chip on the strip requires its own unique address to receive lighting commands.

Use our DMX Code Editor (Code: 102.156) to rapidly assign addresses to these chips. A single unit can program up to 15 metres (3 full rolls) of Pixel HD tape on one universe.

Once addressed, instantly test the strip to ensure perfect programming. You can also run 22 pre-recorded colour effects directly from the editor's built-in SD card.
