This "Top view" end cap is designed to fit onto the "Top view" NEOLINEAR™ to seal the flex after it has been cut to size. NEOLINEAR™ should only be cut at the marked cutting points and once cut it cannot be re-joined. It is also important to note that the IP67 rating of the NEOLINEAR™ is reduced to IP65 when the end cap is fitted.
To install the end cap first make sure that the cut end of the flex is thoroughly coated with common silicone sealant, the end cap should then be carefully fitted over the cut point and then sealed into place with the common silicone sealant, which should then be left to dry completely before the installation is carried out. Extra care should be taken to ensure that the end cap is not immersed or in constant contact with water.
