With a high output of 700W, this professional grade 48V LED driver from our LEDTech range is perfect for commercial and domestic projects that require a more powerful driver than the lower-wattage units.

A lot of LED controllers are now rated with a high output per channel and as such they require either a large driver or multiple drivers connected to them, multiple drivers would require power sharing and tend to be an expensive option.

These high-powered Constant Voltage LED Drivers have many built-in safety features including Short Circuit Protection and Over voltage protection. Should either of these fault states occur simply remove the fault condition and the driver will automatically re-set. If an over-temperature state is detected, the driver should then be powered down and when cooled, powered back on.

As this 700W LED Driver is air-cooled it is important to take this into account when locating the units. All air-cooled drivers need to be situated in a more open area with no insulation covering them, we also recommend running the high-powered drivers at around 75% of the driver's output value which would be 525W for this unit.

Running the diver up to full power supplied (700W) is manageable for shorter amounts of time. When powering drivers that are controlling CCT or colour-changing LED Strips this value can be increased since not all the colours will be running at the same time. Running at this level will ensure the longevity of the unit and your LED Lights.
