Featuring commercial grade quad colour LED Chips, these "three-pixel" RGBW LED Modules are the perfect solution for producing colour changing light boxes and with the addition of a cool white light you have the best of both worlds. The ideal depth of the lightbox to get the best effect from the modules is between 50mm and 250mm although they can be fitted to deeper boxes if required.

The modules are bright (0.96W) and are connected together with a five-core ribbon cable 133mm long. This can be cut as required enabling you to choose precisely the number of modules in your lightbox. Each string of 20 modules is 4.5m long including a 142mm tail to both ends. The modules have excellent colour consistency and are supplied with a 3m sticky backing that should be used as a first fix to position the modules for optimum effect. Once the correct placing has been achieved, we recommend hard fixing them into place using a small screw through the fixing hole on each module.

To control the colours, you will need an RGBW controller and a 12v driver to power them. Although you cannot connect more than 20 modules (one string) in one line you can connect more strings of modules to the controller by connecting them in parallel, just ensure that you have a large enough driver to power the number of modules you would like to control.
