Product Description

The Flexi Rope Silicone Glue must be used when making any joints or when you are attaching the starter kit to the Flexi Rope. The Glue is used in conjunction with the Flexi Rope Heat Shrink Sleeves that slide over the rope when making a joint, this will strengthen the joint holding it together and also maintain the IP rating of the joint to stop water or moisture ingress into the Flexi Rope.

To use the Glue, slide the heat shrink sleeve over the Flexi Rope and then carefully apply the Flexi Rope Silicone Glue over the joint and in both directions on either side of the joint. Finally, slide the heat shrink sleeve back over the joint and apply heat (using a heat gun) to the Heat Shrink sleeve until it is firmly gripping the joint. Wipe off any excess Silicone glue from either side of the heat shrink sleeve.
