When you require a reliable, IP67 rated, compact connector to link your LED strip to another LED Strip with a wire bridge in between, this mini strip to strip bridge clip connector from our professional range of discrete connectors is the ideal solution. The connector is suitable for 5 Pin RGB+CCT Colour Changing plus Colour Temperature Adjustable, IP67 rated SMD type LED strips with an inner strip width of 12mm and an outer coated width of 14mm. The connectors are rated at Max load 36V 5A and have a wire bridge "link lead" forming a gap of 180mm from one strip to another, this is ideal for linking LED Strips together. The outer dimensions of the connector are 20mm Wide x 10mm Deep so they can be incorporated into a profile enabling you to hide the connector inside the profile if required (check profile dimensions for suitable fit).
The connectors are clamped into place on the LED Strip by sliding the transparent part of the connector over the LED Strip and then joining the two together, gripping the connector firmly at the clip point and closing the connector around the LED Strip, take care to slide the LED strip into the connector body all the way so that the pins line up with the cut points on the LED Strip. Squeeze the connector closed firmly until it clicks into place.
Note: The connector will pierce the LED strip ensuring a secure grip onto the tape so it will not slide off, the electrical connection is also very secure so there is minimal voltage loss over the joint. Once the connector has been clamped onto the strip, it is not recommended to remove it as damage to the LED Strip will occur. If it is necessary to remove the connector, carefully insert a small flat headed screwdriver under the side clips to release them, care must be taken to avoid injury as it is easy to slip with the screwdriver. Once the connector has been used it is not advisable to use it again.
