Product Description

This 36V LED strip light driver is from LED Technologies. It is suitable for powering our ProFlex 36v LED strips.

36V LED lighting require a 36v LED power supply unit / LED driver / LED transformer. This will connect your lighting to a mains power supply.

To get the best performance out of your drivers, only load the driver to around 75% of the drivers' value. For example, a 100W driver should only run at 75W. Therefore this 300W driver should only be used for 225W or lower lighting fixtures.

Lighting transformers use a constant voltage for powering LED's. The LED light drivers total wattage should be more than the required wattage of the product. Different types of LED drivers will have different output voltages, make sure to select the correct constant voltage LED driver for the product you are powering.

This LEDTech driver has an IP rating of IP67. The 6 stands for complete protection against dust. The 7 means that it is protected against temporary immersion. This is between 15cm and 1M.

Therefore, this driver is waterproof and is suitable for indoor and outdoor lighting.

The driver is supplied with input and output wire tails. These need to be connected to a suitably rated junction box such as our IP68 gel connectors. This will maintain the IP67 rating.
