This superb quality LED driver from our LED Tech range of LED control products is a constant voltage, 12V, 300W 25A unit, the driver is compact in size for the power output, and it is perfect for powering 12V LED products such as LED strip lights up to approximately 225W. The driver is IP67 rated, suitable for indoor or outdoor use in both wet and damp environments. The driver is supplied with input and output wire tails which need to be connected to a waterproof junction box such as our IP68 gel connectors, these will maintain a high IP rating and stop any ingress of water into the driver through the cables. Note: For ease of connection, the 12V DC output is through a single cable, we recommend that this driver is suitable for powering 12V LED Strips up to 225W and the driver has several important safety features such including Over-voltage, Overload and short circuit protection, where the unit will shut off until the issue has been resolved. It is important to ensure that these drivers are installed in a ventilated area as they are air cooled. The driver has an over temperature protection circuit that will power off the driver should it get too hot, this will reset once the driver has cooled down to the to within tolerance levels.
