Warm White Mirror Lighting for Sync Pilates Studio
LED Technologies supplied a warm white LED lighting solution for Sync Pilates Studio in Congleton, using 2200K Nano Sideview Neon Flex to create concealed illumination around the studio's mirrors.
The Neon Flex was installed behind both the individual arched mirrors and a large mirrored wall, producing a soft glow around their edges and complementing the relaxed interior of the Pilates studio.
Concealed Neon Lighting Around the Mirrors
Our 2200K Nano Sideview Neon Flex was used behind the mirrors rather than as a directly visible light source.
This creates a halo of indirect light around each mirror, with the wall behind reflecting and diffusing the illumination. The effect is particularly noticeable around the arched mirrors, where the Neon Flex follows the curved shape and highlights their profile.
The same technique was used behind the large mirrored wall, creating a wider area of warm ambient illumination and maintaining a consistent appearance across the studio.
Warm 2200K illumination: A 2200K colour temperature was chosen for the installation, producing a particularly warm white light that suits the calm and relaxing aesthetic of the space.
Dimmable Lighting Control
The mirror lighting can also be dimmed, giving Sync Pilates Studio control over the intensity of the illumination.
A MiBoxer FUT035S PLUS 2 in 1 LED Controller was supplied alongside a FUT006 Mi Light Remote Control.
Together, these provide wireless control of the lighting, allowing the brightness of the 2200K Neon Flex to be adjusted to suit the required atmosphere within the studio.

The Finished Installation
The completed installation uses the mirrors themselves as part of the studio's lighting design. Concealing the Nano Neon Flex behind the mirrors keeps the light source out of sight while creating a warm 2200K glow around the individual arches and larger mirrored wall.
With wireless dimming control also incorporated into the system, Sync Pilates Studio can adjust the brightness of the mirror lighting while maintaining the warm white appearance chosen for the space.
