Colour coded yellow for easy identification, these solder sleeve heat shrink connectors are designed for cable sizes from 12–10AWG (4mm²–6mm²). Each connector is 40mm in length and rated up to 48A, providing a fast and reliable way to create a secure soldered joint using only a heat gun.

What is a Solder Sleeve Heat Shrink Connector?

Solder sleeve heat shrink connectors—also known as solder and seal wire connectors—combine soldering and insulation in a single step. Each connector includes a low-temperature solder ring and dual-wall heat shrink tubing, making it an efficient solution for waterproof cable joining. 

Supplied in bags of 100, they are colour coded for quick size selection and consistent installation across projects.

How to Use Solder Sleeve Heat Shrink Connectors

Creating a sealed electrical joint is quick and straightforward: 

  1. Strip back the insulation from both cables to be joined  

  1. Slide the solder sleeve heat shrink connector onto one cable  

  1. Twist the conductor strands together or align side by side  

  1. Position the connector so the solder ring sits over the joint  

  1. Apply heat using a heat gun until fully sealed
