Product Description

This walkover LED profile is the perfect solution for installing LED strip lights into the ground. They feature a much thicker diffuser which can withstand a lot of weight. They can be walked or driven over, without causing any damage.

This drive-over LED profile is 1m in length that can be cut to bespoke sizes. It has a total depth of 25.9mm, with the ability to house LED tape that is no more than 12.5mm in width.

Installing strip lights into the floor, whether for driveways or hallways, is an elegant and beautiful method of brightening the space. Our in-ground profiles are designed to protect the lighting while diffusing the light output to create a continuous line of light.

 

Installation

LED floor aluminium profiles can be secured into place by using the fixing clips, or by screwing through the back of the profile with a countersunk-headed screw. It is important to ensure that it is flush with the floor to minimise damage and risk of injury.

Note: When installing LED strips into a profile, check that the back of the strip remains insulated from the profile. The profile is aluminium, meaning it will conduct the low-voltage power going through the tape, causing it to stop working.
