PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is a way of controlling LED lighting products.
DALI is a control system that features bi-directional communication.
When controlling a number of LED products, using more than one controller with cause a delay which results in the LED lighting changing out of sequence. This is particularly worse when running a program such as fade. LED repeaters serve to repeat either a DALI or PWM signal so that your LED lighting can be controlled in sync.
LED amplifiers are essential when connecting lots of LED products together, such as our
LED Strip Lights. This ensures that each light is controlled at the same time.
Data repeaters work with any PWM LED controller including RF, DMX, 0-10v and DALI. They can also be used with home automation systems such as ZIGBEE, Bluetooth and Z-Wave.
Using data repeaters is an economical way of controlling multiple LEDs as controllers are more expensive products.
DALI Signal amplifiers boost the signal for large installations with a maximum network of 64 DALI devices. Our DALI repeater also features a built-in DALI BUS power supply which enables you to extend your DALI cable length.

Note: It is important when using Data repeaters with DMX that they will not copy high PWM frequencies. For Film and TV projects, multiple DMX decoders should be used.
