Controlling professional RGBUV LED strip

LED strips can be controlled in a number of ways depending on the system you are using and how it's being installed. Available control protocols include both wireless and hardwired options suitable to different types of installation.

For lighting systems that require complex programming, DMX is often used to control multiple zones through a single system. DMX is a hard-wired protocol often used in theatre to individually address lighting fixtures.

DALI is a hardwired protocol used in larger installs because of its extensive and ability to control multiple zones. By assigning a DALI address to a device it can be found within the DALI network and programmed by a controller.

Wireless protocols are often used in domestic installs as they are easy to install and can be hidden out of sight. Popular wireless protocols include RF, Wifi , Zigbee and Z wave all of which operate in different ways.
